It’s that time, time to shift focus here on Granny’s Vital Vittles to match up with changes in my life over the past few years. I’d like to give my readers a heads up on the more local focus of my real food blog.
I’ve written over 100 posts over the 3 years I actively writing on a weekly basis. Virtually all my posts were pretty general and were applicable across the US and Canada. I developed a readership from all over the world! It’s been pretty danged great and I’ve had a hell of a good time 😀 .
You might have noticed that I stopped writing completely in 2015. Maybe you wondered why? Well, I had lots of things change in my life during that year … I moved to a new place then I left my corporate job and returned to selling real estate for a living. So I had a business to build and not much time for writing for the duration of the switch. Where I used to relax on Sundays and write a post for Granny’s Vital Vittles now instead I was out showing properties on Sundays 😀
Well, now that my business is better established I find I’m having some ideas for the old blog and want to write again, so yayyyy! I love writing and have been so inspired by the people I’ve met here in Bastrop County Texas. So I’m reopening the blog to write about some incredible real food folk here in Central Texas. My hope is that my neighbors here will find learning about there real food producing neighbors inspirational in adding a little more real food in their lives.
I’ll also be adding my thoughts on making the making of real food a more practical undertaking as ideas come to me.
I hope you love the new direction!
